TWO CUTTERHEAD CONFIGURATION
The machine is constructed of two cutterheads for greatly increasing production capacity. Cutterhead can be oscillated in right/left direction, through worm gear drive for convenient operations.

AUTOMATIC INDEXING
The number of indexes is easily set at the control panel. Index numbers are made according to the desired grooves. The machine performs indexing automatically after each groove is cut. The headstock incorporates a clutch brake for fast and positive index positioning.

FULLY AUTOMATIC OPERATIONS
All phases of the WSG-240 shaper operation are fully automatic. From stock feeding and clamping, to groove shaper and product releasing, the continuous automatic operation of the WSG-240 can meet the most challenging production requirements. All the operator needs to do is load the stock into the loading magazine, and remove the product after shaping.

CUTTERHEAD ADJUSTMENT
The cutterhead can be set horizontally. The spindle accommodates spiral cutter for producing hollow spiral grooves. It also accommodates shaper cutter, providing fine finish effect on the product surface.
