Automatic thickness reading
The infeed sensor is used to detect changes in the thickness of workpieces. It then maps the thickness profile onto a human-machine interface (HMI). This aids in the rapid setup of the sanding procedure (Recipe)
PLC-HMI
Through the human-machine interface, the thickness information of the workpiece provided by the infeed sensor can be used to set up the sanding recipe. Additionally, there is a brush compensation system that allows for setting a time to increase the sanding depth for compensating when the sanding brush wears down and the sanding effect is insufficient
